Before you install.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
No catch. There is no Pro version, no licence and no cloud service. Everything you see is in the free plugin on WordPress.org.
Will it break my site?
It starts with safe defaults. Risky options carry a “May break” note, Safe Mode switches every optimisation off in one click, and any settings change can be undone for 24 hours.
Does it work with WooCommerce and page builders?
Yes. Cart, checkout and account pages are never cached, cart cookies skip the cache, and page-builder editors such as Elementor are never cached or optimised.
Can I import my WP Rocket settings?
Yes. Tools → Import reads a WP Rocket settings export. Importers for other cache plugins are in beta.
What happens when I uninstall?
Deactivating removes the drop-in, our wp-config.php line, our .htaccess rules and every cached file. Deleting the plugin also removes its settings and its table — nothing is left behind.
